Humorous Birthday...

This card is for my friend Fran's birthday.  Love the humor!  Hope she has a good laugh too.  Laid the sentiment out in Photoshop Elements.  Had fun playing with fonts, love the whimsy in this one called "Peace & Jolly".  Added the little daisy's with the honeybee on the petals.

Marilyn's Birthday

My sister-in-law Marilyn is about to celebrate a birthday.  So made this "sublimation" birthday card for her.  Love this quaint mailbox and decided to use that as my focal. I had the background in another file so used that and added an envelope with flower and some leafy greens.  Love making my own sentiments.

I loved this whale and have been thinking of a fun way to use him.  So here we go..."Have a whale of a Birthday".  Found in my digital stash some fun things to complement him.  And here it is:

Neighbors Birthday

My wonderful neighbor Cathy celebrates an early spring birthday.  She is not only my friend, but a friend to our community.  So I created this "springy" card for her.
Happy Birthday Cathy!

Birthday suit wrinkles

This guy just makes me chuckle.

The sentiment is fun, you don't hear the term "wrinkle in your birthday suit" much any more.  He's definitely got a wrinkle or two.

Added the background swashes for a little more color and there you have it.

The perfect birthday card for a guy with a "good sense of humor"!

Sending Sunny Wishes for a Very Happy Birthday!

For what ever reason, I had this "thing" for anything Watermelon themed this summer. For this card I fell in love with this sweet watermelon wreath and couldn't wait to put it on paper.

And here in Central Oregon, we had a beautiful summer for munching on that sweet melon.

Here is what I came up with for this birthday card...the sentiment came easy and other than that, I added a brush of colors that would complement the wreath. And there you have it.

Mom's 95th Birthday Card!

This was truly a labor of love. My Mother turned 95 this past July 28th. And she celebrated like a rock star! She even played "corn hole" for the first time. The whole family was there to celebrate her.

This scene is so pretty with the beautiful flowers, the peacock (isn't he beautiful), the dragonfly's and a very frilly birthday greeting.

She said this card is her favorite...but she says that every year!

Happy Birthday Mom!

This ice cream cone looks good enough to eat!

Absolutely, may your birthday be filled with joy, or in this case beautiful flowers! Made a greeting, simple and feminine and sprinkled the card with "gold dust". Yummy!

Amy's 50th

I can’t believe our daughter turned 50 in June. Yikes, where has the time gone.

Anyway, thought she might enjoy a card that definitely has a “celebratory” feel to it,

and what says celebration like the yummy “Crantini”!

 Cheers to you Amy Lynne!

Hope your day blooms with special joy

We just celebrated Dave's 78th birthday. He is still as handsome as the day I married him...54 years ago! And he still brings me a glass of wine in the late afternoon.

Love that guy!!!

Happy Birthday Sandra Sue!!!

I have the sweetest friend, lots of fun, a wonderful sense of humor and a kind heart.  Really doesn't get better than that does it.

I found this image on Pinterest a long time ago and just took notice of it again.  My thought was...well this has potential, so off I went and this is what happened.

I created the birthday sentiment on the inside and also recreated the original sentiment on the front of the card.  Love doing that, gives it just a little more personality and makes it unique.

I hope you enjoy!

A Birthday Card for Judy

My dear Sister-in-law Judy is having a birthday in a few days.  She is amazing, a total outdoor girl with a deep love for animals of all types.  Lives in the country, with dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, chickens etc. etc. etc.

When I saw this handsome ole Rooster, I thought of Judy and that he just might put a big smile on her face.  So "cock-a-doodle-do" Judy!  Lots of Birthday love!!!

You'll see the card front...

And the back of the card...I have been having fun trying to fit the focal image on the front of the card to the signature side, and here it is...

A Birthday card for a dear friends daughter.  It's the same card as the one that I made for my sister Carol.  Just personalized the sentiment.

Charlou's Birthday Card "Wrinkle Free"

My little sister Charlou just had a birthday and she has a really good sense of humor.  So when I saw this I immediately thought of her!  Don't you love the lips on that cow and the red bow.

My Granddaughter's 20th Birthday!

So, Maggie turned 20.  She has always had grand plans and is well on her way to a very successful future.  Those plans also included a "trunk monkey" along the way to do her bidding, so behold the "Trunk Monkey" birthday card!  Isn't this little guy cute...seems a shame to lock him away in a trunk.

Happy Birthday Mags!

Happy Birthday Carol!

My Sister Carol's (not going to say how old) Birthday Card.  Her birthday is in December and she is very vocal about not wanting her birthday card to have anything that remotely looks like Christmas.

So this is what I made for her!!! Happy Birthday little Sis!
Again, I have been very bad about taking pictures of the completed card.  Just imagine this white card panel, popped up on a pretty lavender background panel...pretty...right???
