Five O'clock Wine!

Well here I sit, with wine in hand...yes, Dave climbed those stairs once again with glass in hand.  Thinking back on my day, I retook command of the entry way closet and as it happened it really did need retaking!  Found our Son-in-Law's winter coat that he's been looking for and donated coats and jackets to our local charity of choice.  And now after finishing another big job, I opened the email to see wonderful, encouraging comments from some of the most amazing and talented ladies, I have known.  I appreciate all your comments, they are full of positive anecdotes from your lives and how you all got through similar situations.

So I lift my glass to you (hic) as I sip (hic), to say thank you (hic).  Humm...maybe I've had more sips than I thought...

I may be a little tired, but always remember, I remain..."Happy as a clam in white wine butter sauce"!

  1. Hi Barbara! I love your blog ♥ Do you have a house already picked out yet? I admire you. I need to do that too (purge stuff we don't need). Then we need to fix this house and downsize as well. Keep us posted!!! Hugs to you!

  2. hahaha although I do miss looking at one of your beautifully crafted cards, I LOVE your post! You are missed, but I know how busy you are. Just make sure you have a great craft space in the next home, maybe one without stairs, so Dave can easily make 2 trips! ;) xo~

  3. Love your post. I just hopped over to see what you were doing. I have signed up to your blog, but did not get a message that you posted. So glad that I looked, this is so funny. My husband is so tired of the winter we have been having, he wanted to know where we would move to next year. I said, NO WAY. My craft room alone would take the wind out of my sails. Ten years ago, I purges a lot of stuff, and now I have added to it again.
So I am going to put in my e-mail again so I get notices when you post.

  4. Love your post Barbara. Our MN house just sold so we're headed that way to get everything out...some will go to kids & grandkids, some will be sold, some will be donated and I have a feeling a LOT will be trashed. Isn't it wonderful we have wine to make it all a little easier?? lol

  6. Oh, I feel your pain! Thanks for sharing, and I raise my (plastic) glass (of red gatorade--does that count?) to you! Take it easy, my friend. That stuff's not going anywhere...yet. It will be here tomorrow, waiting for you to purge some more. Pace yourself!
