It is sooo great to see postings from you again. I was trilled that you stopped by my blog to say hello and leave the sweet comment. I love your new posts especially the fall flowers.
How fun to open this post up to find Gerry, Kathy and Verna left such sweet notes. I have missed all of you too. Back in the GinaK days you were all such an inspiration to me. So again, thank you for stopping by with so much encouragement. Blessing to you all.
I am blown away by your coloring, I can't stop looking at all your beautiful creations. Thanks for you kind comment over on my blog, I was so happy to see you there. Welcome back to blogland, I'm so looking forward to seeing what you have to share.
Thank you so much Judy for your sweet comments. But have to correct something. I do digital cards meaning that for instance the scene above has about 15-20 different images that I put together to make this card. I purchase watercolor digital files from some amazingly talented people. The fun part is to take single images and put them together to make something that will make someone smile when they receive the card. I used to be pretty good at hand coloring, but not nearly as good as these artists. Not even close!
There is absolutely nothing I enjoy more than a glass of wine and a little blank cardstock to create handmade cards for family and friends. I have a wonderfully supportive husband of 54 years for continued encouragement and that glass of wine, which he happily delivers to me every evening. I am the mother of 2 children and the Nana of 5, Maggie, Luke, Ella, Aidan & Ava. They are the light of my life and help keep Dave and I young. I hope you find pleasure in the cards I make.
Oh and by the way…while it’s more about the white wine butter sauce than the clams, I do love a good clam linguini, with lots of garlic and crusty bread. Add to that a glass of Chardonnay and I really am “Happy as a clam in white wine butter sauce”.
Love it!! This one and the Haunting Night one have inspired me.
